How Salvation Army Angel Tree Registration Works

  • Angel Tree Registration Appointments are October 3 - 28, 2022 for people living in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
  • All appointments will be done over the phone. Reminder:  Schedule your appointment September 19-30, 2022 by calling 828-253-4723.
  • We will call Angel Tree participants for your scheduled appointment time to complete the application.

Please Note the Following for Registration:

  • Please be prepared to discuss proof of all income and expenses during your scheduled appointment.

Please Note the Following for Picking Up Angel Tree Gifts in December:

  • Legal Guardian will be required to provide a valid ID to pick up Angels AND also provide ID that shows the name and birthdate for each child registered.
  • Participants will be required to provide proof of being a Buncombe County resident. 
  • The Salvation Army will also provide a food box to every family.


Additional Christmas Assistance Programs

Thanksgiving Day Dinner Served 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter will offer a Thanksgiving meal of turkey and traditional fixings and dessert. All meals will be served in a to-go box in the front lobby of The Salvation Army Center of Hope.
