Ring a Bell. Share Joy. Change Lives.

For more than a century, the sound of The Salvation Army bell has been a symbol of hope during the Christmas season. When you volunteer as a bell ringer, you become part of a tradition that helps provide food, shelter, Christmas assistance, youth programs, and year-round support for individuals and families in need throughout our community. Just a few hours of your time can make a lasting difference.

We offer volunteer shifts at kettle locations throughout Southwest Florida during the Christmas season. Bell ringing is one of the simplest and most rewarding ways to give back during the holidays.

As a volunteer bell ringer, you can:

  • Make a direct impact in your local community
  • Spread Christmas cheer and goodwill
  • Create meaningful memories with friends, family, or coworkers
  • Be part of a cherished holiday tradition

Every Bell Makes a Difference

The funds raised at our Red Kettles stay right here in our community, helping provide critical assistance to those facing hardship. Every donation dropped into a kettle represents hope for someone in need, and every volunteer helps make that possible.

Whether you can volunteer for a single shift or throughout the season, your time will make a difference.

Share the Joy of Christmas Together

There's something special about gathering friends, coworkers, church members, teammates, or fellow volunteers to make a difference during the Christmas season.

When your group volunteers at a Salvation Army Red Kettle, you're doing more than ringing a bell. You're helping provide food for families, shelter for those in need, Christmas assistance for children, and year-round support for neighbors facing difficult circumstances right here in Southwest Florida.

Whether you're a business looking for a meaningful team-building opportunity, a church seeking a service project, or a community group wanting to give back, we'd love to partner with you this Christmas.

No experience is needed. We'll provide the kettle, bells, and everything you need to have a successful and enjoyable volunteer experience.

Let's Connect

If your group is interested in bell ringing this season, I'd love to hear from you! Reach out and I'll help guide you through the process, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to find dates, locations, and volunteer opportunities that fit your group.

Together, we can bring joy, hope, and help to our community this Christmas.
