Moose Tracks’ 10,000 Scoop Challenge Scoops Up $10,000 for The Salvation Army in Detroit
The 2025 10,000 Scoop Challenge Tour was an unforgettable adventure that blended a love for ice cream with a sense of community spirit. This summer, the Denali Moose Tracks team traveled across the U.S., spreading joy to ice cream lovers while raising funds for local charities. For every scoop served, Moose Tracks Ice Cream donated $1 to The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit, supporting critical social services and programs. Thousands of people enjoyed a free scoop of ice cream on Wednesday, July 23rd, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Cadillac Square, downtown Detroit.
Daria Tavic, Marketing Manager at Denali Brands, said, “We love what the Salvation Army does for the local Detroit community. What means a lot to us in every city that we visit is that we want to make sure the funds that we raise go back into the local community.”
Tavic praised The Salvation Army for recruiting an enthusiastic collection of volunteers.
“And they really came through today. They provided us with incredible volunteers and all the support we needed to help raise the $10,000 we had hoped to raise.”
