Christmas Assistance
The Salvation Army recognizes that holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress for families in need, and that is why we are proud to offer Christmas services to those in need in Laredo and the surrounding Webb County area including:
- Angel Tree
- Christmas Food Boxes

Emergency Disaster Services
When disaster strikes, The Salvation Army responds quickly, mobilizing its officers, employees, and volunteers wherever needed.

Residential Services
Homeless Shelter
For those with no place to go or in need of emergency shelter, the local Salvation Army homeless shelter provides a warm, safe place for men & women to lay their heads.
Shelter is provided Monday thru Friday
Hours: 8pm to 6am
Intake: 8pm to 9pm
(no one allowed in after 9pm)
Client must have a legal form of ID.
Emergency Assistance
The times are growing increasingly difficult for some in our community, and The Salvation Army is there in emergency situations to assist families through these times by offering:
- Utility Assistance
- Rental Assistance
- Clothing Vouchers
- Food Baskets

Tuesday - 5pm - Youth Music Program

Spiritual Care
The love of God is at the heart of what we do. Our service-oriented
approach to faith is shared each Sunday at services throughout the country.
The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store
Your donations to our local Family Thrift Store enable us to not only make affordable high quality items available to those in need, but, the proceeds go to fund all of our local programs that help your neighbors throughout the year.
Clothing Assistance:
Clothing vouchers for use in our Thrift Store are provided for individuals/families in need through our Social Service office.
Thrift Store Hours:
Monday thru Friday
10am to 3:30pm
Donation Pick-Up:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
10am to 2pm
