Sun, surf and Santa!

The Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans is always looking ahead. Due to ongoing economic issues and continued Hurricane Ida recovery, we anticipate a greater need in the coming months for families in the seven-parish area we serve, especially around the holidays.

But there are many ways you can help:

“Stuff the Sleigh” school supply donations

The Salvation Army’s Women Auxiliary is partnering with FOX 8/WVUE to host school
supply drives encouraging people to purchase extra supplies and donate them to area children
and teachers.

Saturday, August 6 - 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Walmart Supercenter at:
1901 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans
8912 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie
880 N Highway 190, Covington
(all donations will occur out front near the main entrances)

Bikes for Tikes

Bicycles are the number one toy requested by children for Christmas. With chain
supply issues and continued price increases, those wishing to donate a bike for a
child can do so early by purchasing and dropping off the bike at The Salvation
Army:

The Salvation Army,
4526 S. Claiborne Ave,
New Orleans, Louisiana
