The Salvation Army deploys canteens in nation’s capital

Jan 14, 2021 – The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command has deployed two canteens to provide nourishment and emotional and spiritual care to the troops providing security in Washington, D.C., at the time of the inauguration of President Joe Biden. The canteens went into service Saturday, Jan. 16 and will remain in place until Jan. 31.
