The Salvation Army’s Service Extension program spreads the mission of The Salvation Army to smaller Texas towns and cities, typically in rural locations. In many communities, services are administered by volunteers working in non-traditional office environments such as a shared space at a local church or community center.  In other communities, staff and volunteers provide services from a Salvation Army facility.
