Christmas and Seasonal Assistance

The Salvation Army of Wake County offers an array of Christmas Assistance programs. This includes assistance with food, food for the holidays, gifts and toys for children, gifts for senior citizens, and more.

Holiday Assistance
During Christmastime, The Salvation Army works to bring joy to thousands of Wake County children, providing them with new clothing and toys, and the opportunity to have a happy Christmas morning. The Salvation Army also offers additional food assistance at Thanksgiving.

Experience Holiday Joy

The Salvation Army of Wake County serves our community all year long. However, during the Christmas
season it is our goal to make sure the joy of this blessed Holiday reaches every family. We provide
Thanksgiving meal baskets for a home-cooked feast, and fill stockings and packages to brighten the
children’s Christmas morning.

Serving Through Christ

The Salvation Army celebrates the birth of Christ by spreading His hope, love, and joy to those in need. In fact, our gift-giving programs and fundraising initiatives are a direct answer to God’s calling to care for the poor, hungry, sick, and displaced. From physical needs such as grocery, utility, and gift assistance to spiritual guidance that provides healing and hope, we work to assist the whole person through gifts that serve the body, mind, and soul.
