Hutch’s Stores Gives Back: $20,000 Donation to The Salvation Army

Jan 14, 2025 | by Chris Johnson

This holiday season, Hutch’s Stores, employees and its customers came together to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Thanks to their generosity and a matching gift from Hutch’s, $20,000 was donated to The Salvation Army to help fund critical local programs.

“We’re so grateful for the support from Hutch’s Stores and their customers,” said Douglas Goetzinger, Divisional Development Director for The Salvation Army. “This incredible donation will allow us to provide meals, essential services, and hope to families in need, ensuring that the spirit of giving lasts well beyond the holiday season.”

Hutch’s donation is a shining example of how businesses and their communities can come together to create positive change. These funds will enable The Salvation Army to continue its work of offering assistance to those facing hardship, regardless of their circumstances.

The Salvation Army provides a wide range of services designed to change lives and offer hope. From food distribution and overnight shelter to emergency financial aid, our efforts address both immediate needs and long-term challenges. By combining social services with spiritual care, The Salvation Army helps individuals and families rebuild their lives and find a renewed sense of purpose.

To Hutch’s Stores, team members, and everyone who contributed: thank you for partnering with The Salvation Army as we spread hope and love when and where it’s needed most. Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.
