Jasco Giving Hope Foundation Grants Funds to The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army of Arkansas-Oklahoma is very grateful to the Jasco Giving Hope Foundation for generous gifts to help with programs critical to meeting needs for the most vulnerable. The Salvation Army has a presence in almost every county in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The recent grants from the Jasco Giving Hope Foundation (JGHF) total over $600,000 since 2019 and have been dedicated to projects including operating expenses and an emergency stand-by generator for the Oklahoma City location, The Salvation Army’s efforts and response to COVID-19, and upgrades to the campgrounds of Camp Heart O’Hills located in Welling, Oklahoma.
Camp Heart O’Hills is a place where children get to experience a world different from their own. For some it is the only time they will ever participate in a ropes course, cross a lake in a canoe, or hear about the love of Jesus. The Arkansas and Oklahoma Salvation Army’s summer camp is open to boys and girls, ages 7 to 12 years old. Various Salvation Army children’s program groups participate, as well as at-risk youth from smaller communities throughout the state. No matter their background, at Camp Heart O’Hills each child can make wonderful memories and form friendships that last a lifetime.
In addition to the financial contributions, Jasco Team Members also blessed Angels in the Angel Tree program across the division this past Christmas with in-kind gifts.

Jasco’s Giving Hope Foundation gifts provide both funding and in-kind donations which impact national, state-wide, and local programs for those who come to The Salvation Army seeking assistance and a glimpse of hope,” says Lt. Colonel Dean Hinson, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army’s Arkansas-Oklahoma Division.
