Little Rock, AR - The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas has received a generous donation of $20,000 to support their disaster relief efforts in the wake of a series of deadly storms that recently swept through their region. The donation was a combined effort between Arkansas Center of Influence and Edward Jones.

During a networking event hosted by Arkansas Center of Influence, it was determined that the focus of the event would be on how they could collectively help those in Central Arkansas and the community of Wynne who were affected by the natural disaster. As a result, the group donated $10,000 with Edward Jones matching the $10,000 gift for a combined $20,000 donation to support The Salvation Army's ongoing efforts.

"We are grateful to the Arkansas Center of Influence and Edward Jones for their incredible generosity," said Area Commander Major Bill Mockabee. "This donation will make a significant difference in our ability to provide essential services to those impacted by the recent storms. The Salvation Army is committed to serving the needs of our community during times of crisis, and this donation will help us to continue that mission."

The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas has been working tirelessly to provide relief to those affected by the recent disaster, and their efforts have been impressive. So far, the organization has distributed 8,492 drinks and 5,042 snacks to those in need. Additionally, they have provided emotional and spiritual care (ESC) to 580 individuals impacted by the disaster.
