In a heartwarming collaboration, UPS's Women in Operations Business Resource Group (BRG) is channeling their festive spirit to spread holiday cheer across five cities in two states, including The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma Area Command, through the Angel Tree program. Adopting 425 children, they are working tirelessly to brighten their holidays under the leadership of UPS Talent Manager LaShonda Crawford, who recognizes the vital role of giving back to the community. Crawford emphasizes, "It's so important for kids to receive something on Christmas," and expresses the hope that these children in Central Oklahoma and beyond could become future donors to the Angel Tree program.

CW DeLong, Dallas, UPS On Road Supervisor, underscores the significance of this initiative, describing their participation in the Salvation Angel Tree as a way of "Delivering Smiles" in the communities they serve, including Central Oklahoma. DeLong passionately believes that every child deserves to have a reason to smile on Christmas, expressing the hope that the generosity shown will inspire these children to give back and bring joy to others in the future.

Corrie Moore, Supervisor and Women in Operations Chair for Oklahoma, shares the excitement of delivering these heartfelt gifts to families in need, emphasizing the joy of making a positive impact during a challenging time of the year for these kids in Central Oklahoma and other areas. Moore acknowledges that these families are an integral part of their community, and UPS is proud to contribute to ensuring they have a memorable Christmas.

In a beautiful convergence of efforts, The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma Area Command expresses deep gratitude to UPS for their unwavering support in making the Angel Tree program a success. The collaboration between UPS and The Salvation Army exemplifies the true spirit of the season, where delivering smiles and making a difference in the lives of others take precedence. Together, they are not just bringing joy to these 425 children, but also inspiring a cycle of giving and kindness within their communities. This heartwarming initiative stands as a testament to UPS's commitment to making a positive impact beyond their business operations, reflecting the true essence of the holiday season.
