USAO Volunteers Make a Difference for The Salvation Army of Grady & Caddo Counties
Caddo & Grady County, OK - The Salvation Army of Grady & Caddo Counties would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to the volunteers from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) who participated in Drover Difference Day on Saturday, March 3rd.
The USAO volunteers lent their time and efforts to sprucing up The Salvation Army's facilities, including touching up paint and sorting through donations of goods. These donations will be used to provide assistance to the most vulnerable members of our community.
The Salvation Army is proud to serve those in need in the Grady & Caddo Counties in Oklahoma, and we are grateful for the support and dedication of volunteers who help us fulfill our mission. The hard work and enthusiasm of the USAO volunteers made a significant impact on our ability to continue providing essential services to those struggling in our community.
"We are incredibly grateful for the willingness of the USAO volunteers to give of their time and energy to help us in making a difference in our shared community," said Lt. Bobby McFarland, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army of Chickasha. "Their dedication to service and generosity is a testament to the strength and compassion of the areas in which we serve."
The Salvation Army of Grady & Caddo Counties looks forward to future opportunities to work with USAO and other volunteers in service to the community.
