Jackson & George Counties Christmas Kick-off
Families are invited to attend, adopt Christmas Angels, and donate to the iconic Red Kettle.
What: The Salvation Army serving Jackson & George Counties invites you to participate in the kick-off of its largest fundraising campaign of the year, the annual Christmas Red Kettle Campaign. Everyone is invited to join the celebration as Lt. Carla Lawson of The Salvation Army, opens the 2023 Christmas season by ringing The Salvation Army's Iconic Red bell.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to adopt an Angel Tree Recipient and provide new, unwrapped toys and clothing to children and families struggling with stress and the demands of the season to provide for their families.

What: The Salvation Army Mississippi Gulf Coast, in collaboration with Windy Swetman, his family, and friends, tirelessly ring bells from sunrise to sunset. Their aim is to generate funds for The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, which plays a crucial role in supporting social service initiatives throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
