Anonymous $250,000 donation to help the Salvation Army’s response to coronavirus pandemic

The Salvation Army of Savannah said on Monday, May 5, that it has received a $250,000 donation through the Savannah Community Foundation. The donation is from an anonymous donor to help build for the future as it anticipates further increases in a need for its services in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Salvation Army.
