How We Help

Christmas Assistance

The Salvation Army recognizes that holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress for families in need. We offer a variety of services to help families and individuals make it through more difficult holiday seasons including Angel Tree, Community Care Ministries & the Red Kettle Campaign.

Emergency Disaster Services

The Salvation Army is ready to serve at a moment's notice whenever disaster strikes. Our local trained team may service in local, state, national and international disasters.

Social Services

Emergency Shelter

The Salvation Army of Grayson County is proud to offer our Men's Emergency Shelter to those in need of a warm place to lay their heads. The shelter is open daily with check-in at 5:30pm and check-out at 7:00am with Breakfast and Dinner served to it's residents.

Financial Services

Emergency Financial Assistance (rent/mortgage/utilities) and Veteran's Financial Assistance are available to those who qualify when funding is available. Please contact us for more information.

Youth Programs

In addition to The Salvation Army's Summer Camps, we also offer the following youth programming locally on Tuesdays at 5:30pm

Sunbeams
Girl Guards
Adventure Corps

Fighting food insecurity

We believe that no family should go hungry, and it is because of that belief that we offer our Food Pantry for those in need in our community which operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as offering Free Produce 5 days a week from Monday thru Friday. Contact us for more information.
