What types of events can be held in your rental spaces?

We offer spaces for a variety of events:

Conference Room (Ideal for meetings and professional gatherings)
- Business meetings & corporate events
- Trainings, workshops, & seminars
- Community & nonprofit meetings
- Study groups & small retreats
Chapel (Ideal for ceremonies, presentations, and private gatherings)
- Memorial services & celebrations of life
- Speaking engagements & performances
- Private receptions & social gatherings
Gym (Best for large events and active functions)
- Sports & recreational activities
- Community & fundraising events
- Banquets & social gatherings
- Vendor fairs & exhibitions

How far in advance should I book my rental? Do you require a deposit?

Bookings should be made at least two weeks in advance. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Can I make changes to my order after booking?

Minor changes can be made up until the event.
Major changes must be approved at least one week before the event and are subject to availability.
Rescheduling is at the discretion of The Salvation Army and depends on availability.
Deposits are non-refundable.

Do you offer event setup and breakdown services?

Yes, setup and breakdown assistance is available upon request for an additional fee.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash or check.

Do I need to provide insurance for rentals?

Yes, renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming:

The Salvation Army, a Georgia Corporation, 351 Hilltop Ln. Annapolis, MD 21403 as an additional insured with the following coverage limits:

$1,000,000 per occurrence (General Liability)
$3,000,000 aggregate
$500,000 for property damage

Am I responsible for damages or lost items?

Yes, renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear and tear on rental items. If an item is damaged or missing, repair or replacement costs may apply. We recommend reviewing the rental agreement and considering event insurance for added protection.

Do you provide catering or food services?

No, we do not provide food, catering, or kitchen facilities. However, we can recommend local caterers if needed.

Do you rent out kitchen equipment or cooking appliances?

No, we do not provide stoves, ovens, grills, or cooking equipment.

Can I bring my own caterer or food?

Yes! You are welcome to bring in outside catering or prepare your own food.

What is your alcohol policy?

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.
