Adopt an Angel

Angel Tree

Each year, The Salvation Army of Augusta’s Angel Tree Program ensures that local children experiencing financial hardship wake up to gifts, clothing, and essentials on Christmas morning. This year, we are honored to serve about 500 families — representing more than 1,200 children across the Augusta area. Your generosity makes this possible.

How to Adopt an Angel

Angel Tree tags list a child’s age, clothing sizes, needs, and holiday wish list. You can select a tag in person or shop online.

Angel Tree tags are available at:

The Salvation Army Kroc Center of Augusta (1833 Broad Street)
New Moon Café (Downtown Augusta)
Panera Bread (Augusta, Evans & Grovetown locations)
Augusta Mall

Beginning November 24, tags will also be available at:

Evans Walmart Supercenter — 4469 Washington Rd, Evans, GA
North Augusta Walmart Supercenter — 1201 Knox Ave, North Augusta, SC

Prefer to give from home? You can purchase gifts directly through our Walmart Angel Tree Registry, and items will ship straight to us.

Gift Drop-Off Information

All Angel Tree gifts must be dropped off by Tuesday, December 9, at The Salvation Army Kroc Center (1833 Broad Street, Augusta, GA). Please return gifts unwrapped and with their Angel tag attached.

Volunteer With Angel Tree

Behind the scenes, dozens of volunteers help sort gifts and prepare for our distribution day. We invite you to give the gift of your time this Christmas. Volunteers are needed for gift sorting and prep, as well as support on Distribution Day. Click the button below to register.

Applications:

Angel Tree Applications for the 2025 Holiday season will open on Monday, October, 6th at 9 AM. Click the button below to apply. This program is available for children ages 12 and under. To qualify, your child must still be 12 years old by December 31, 2025. To apply, click the button below. Before applying, we encourage you to review the application guidelines to ensure you have all the necessary information.
