Christmas Assistance
The Salvation Army recognizes that holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress for families in need. We offer a variety of services to help families and individuals make it through more difficult holiday seasons.
Emergency Disaster Services
When disaster strikes, The Salvation Army responds quickly, mobilizing its officers, employees, and volunteers wherever needed.

Homeless Shelters
For those with no place to go or in need of emergency shelter, local Salvation Army homeless shelters provide a warm, safe place for men, women, and families to stay. In cities where we do not operate homeless shelters, we offer financial assistance to cover emergency overnight housing costs or refer those facing housing and food insecurity to partner programs with emergency shelter services.
The Salvation Army Shelter in Bristol, Tennessee opens daily at 6:30 PM.
Youth Programs
We provide summer camps and after-school programs for
students of all ages, and numerous music, art, and athletic
programs for aspiring youth.

Fighting food insecurity
In our fight against hunger and food insecurity, we provide over 56 million meals annually through food pantries, meal programs, community gardens, and more.
Feeding Programs
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
We feed meals Sunday - Thursday. We also offer food boxes through social services.
Spiritual Care
The love of God is at the heart of what we do.
Our service-oriented approach to faith is shared
each Sunday at services throughout the country.
