A Shelter Ready
for a New Life

 

Critical facility improvements are needed at The Salvation Army of Bristol's homeless shelter to better serve individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Since the building was constructed in 1991, decades of daily use with minimal upgrades have taken their toll.

Our shelter serves vulnerable men and women every day—providing not just emergency housing, but stability, care, and hope. These improvements will directly impact safety, dignity, accessibility, and quality of life for residents.

As the only low-barrier emergency shelter in Bristol, maintaining and improving this facility ensures we can continue serving our community with compassion and excellence.
