The Salvation Army Camp Hidden Lake is located five miles west of Lexington, Mississippi, on State Highway #12 in Holmes County, approximately sixty miles north of Jackson. Camp Hidden Lake sits upon the hills on the edge of the Mississippi Delta. The property includes just over four hundred acres of primarily wooded terrain and was first opened for operation in 1984. 




The complex has a fully stocked 10-acre lake perfect for fishing, kayaking, or canoeing. Three miles of nature trails extend around the lake and through the woods. In addition, there are 16 cabins, a 4,700 square-foot dining hall that seats 290 occupants, a fully functional kitchen with walk-in fridge and freezer, an indoor chapel & outdoor tabernacle, a conference center, as well as an administration building. 

There are various other facilities, including:

  • Olympic sized swimming pool
  • Two boating and fishing docks
  • Volleyball, tennis and basketball courts
  • Playground
  • Primitive camping sites
  • Campfire circle
