This year, summer camp activities are scheduled from June 17 – July 20. The weeks are as follows:

  • June 17-22    Music Camp
  • June 24-29   LA & Service Center Camp
  • July 1-6          MS Camp
  • July 8-13        Life Camp
  • July 15-20      AL Camp

What is the Age Limit for Camp?

The Salvation Army Camp Hidden Lake program is for children and youth ages 6- 17. Please note that ages do vary by camp.

What is the Cost for Camp?

This year, the cost for each camper is $250, but the camper or their families do not pay this amount. The Salvation Army relies on donor support and contributions from faith partners to provide for the operating expenses that Camp Hidden Lake requires. No camper is charged for any registration or participation costs at any time.

Does My Camper Need to Bring Anything to Camp?

Each camper must bring a Bible and a week's worth of clothes, including appropriate attire for swimming. The camper is responsible for personal hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and any other personal grooming items. Mark all clothing, towels, and personal items with your child's first and last name. Please access the Parent's Guide for 2024 for more helpful information, including a detailed packing list and required forms that need to be completed before your child can register.

Does My Camper Need Extra Money for Snacks?

Snacks are provided to every camper during the day free of charge from the camp canteen. No additional funds are needed, and we discourage campers from bringing any extra money to camp.

How Does a Child Register for Camp?

Every child must register for camp at adminicamp.com. No camper will be permitted to camp if the local Salvation Army representative has not approved it.

Can I Visit My Child While They Are at Camp?

Visitors are not allowed in the camp at any time. These guidelines are specifically designed for the safety of the children and staff. Thank you for your consideration and understanding of this request.

What if My Child Needs Medication?

There is always a camp nurse on-site during camp weeks. The camp nurse is responsible for administering any medications. Every camper must have complete medical, insurance, and contact information completed and on file before attending. Any prescription medications your child brings to camp must be in the original container from the pharmacy and marked. All medication must be kept by the camp nurse and dispensed as indicated on the label. Please refer to the parent's guide for additional information regarding our healthcare policies.

Can My Child Leave Camp During the Week?

Campers are not permitted to leave camp or skip any activities. All campers will be required to act appropriately, and any physical or verbal abuse or destruction of camp property will not be tolerated.

Can My Child Bring Their Cell Phone with Them?

Cell phones and digital cameras are not permitted to be sent with Campers. Should your child bring a cellphone or digital camera, it will be confiscated and returned to them upon departure from the camp.

What if Something Ends Up Missing?

Camp Hidden Lake cannot assume responsibility for the loss or damage of any items. The camp does have a lost and found. Parents are encouraged to label items with the camper's name so that they can be returned to them if possible.
