Augusta Salvation Army receives grant from Bank of America for COVID-19 efforts
The Salvation Army of Augusta has received a grant from Bank of America to help support coronavirus relief efforts.
According to a release, the $20,000 grant will be used toward the cost of providing meals and shelter to those impacted by the pandemic.
"The Salvation Army of Augusta's work is essential to providing services for the homeless in our community throughout this coronavirus pandemic," Ora Parish, Augusta Market President for Bank of America, said in a release.
