After the Fire

On September 26, 2021 - Kenneth Valentine & Pamela Grafton's apartment caught fire. While Pamela was away, Kenneth rushed out of the apartment with only the clothes on his back. The fire consumed everything they owned in the apartment. Left with nothing, Kenneth and Pamela began putting the pieces of their life back together. Their journey lead them to The Salvation Army of Greensboro's Center of Hope where they were accepted into a program that offered them free shelter, food, and encouragement that allowed them to seek out a permanent new home. Within sixty days, Kenneth and Pamela had a new home fully-furnished. Listen as they recount the events that got them back on their feet.
