Emergency Financial Aid

The Salvation Army of Lawton offers emergency financial aid programs to assist individuals and families facing financial hardships. Our aid is available for utility bills, housing expenses, and other necessary expenses, based on funding availability. We are dedicated to supporting those in need, helping them find a path towards financial stability. 

Emergency Disaster Services

When a disaster strikes, The Salvation Army is quick to respond by mobilizing its officers, employees, and volunteers. We provide vital services such as food and drink, emotional and spiritual care to those affected by the disaster and emergency responders. Our goal is to provide prompt assistance to those in need, wherever they are, and help them recover from the traumatic experience. Helping the Homeless

The Salvation Army of Lawton aims to alleviate homelessness by providing shelter in a safe environment. Our shelter is open to men, single women, and families who are without a place to stay. Along with a bed for the night, we provide breakfast and dinner for our shelter guests. Our daily meal service is also available to members of the public who are in need. Those seeking shelter must check-in by 5pm each evening, and is subject to availability. 

Fighting Food Insecurity

The Salvation Army of Lawton fights the battle against hunger and food insecurity through our nightly meal service, which takes place daily at 5:30pm. We also offer food boxes to families who seek to fill their pantries with groceries to ensure that their families have the nutrition needed to sustain a comfortable life at home. In 2022, The Salvation Army provided 20,727 meals to individuals in need.

Holiday Assistance Programs

The Salvation Army of Lawton provides assistance during Christmas to families facing financial and emotional stress. We offer programs like Angel Tree and seasonal food assistance to help individuals make it through difficult times. The Salvation Army is committed to supporting those in need during the Christmas season and beyond.
