Qualification Information

Angel Tree

The Salvation Army of Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties is now taking applications for its Angel Tree Christmas Assistance Program to provide toys and clothes to children in need. This program is available only to Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee County residents with household incomes below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

If you are interested in applying, please gather ALL documents BEFORE beginning the online registration process. You will not be able to return to your registration page later. Therefore, you must have ALL documents ready BEFORE beginning registration.

For registration, you must provide the following four (4) documents. Scans or cell phone photos of documents will be accepted.

  1. Photo ID
  2. Birth Certificates OR shot records for children age 12 & under (born after 12/25/2011) Social Security Cards will not be accepted
  3. Proof of Income (SSI/SSDI Letter, four weeks’ worth of paystubs, unemployment benefits letter, OR SNAPS (food stamps) eligibility letter)
  4. Proof of residency (Lease OR utility bill OR government letter)

Gift requests should be limited to toys less than $50. We will be unable to provide bikes or electronics. The program is limited to the first 625 qualifying families. The last day to register is October 2 or when the program capacity has been reached. CLICK HERE to fill out the application
