How We Help

Christmas Programs

Red Kettles: We are always needing Volunteers to ring the bell at Christmas time. Those willing can go to ww.registertoring.com and find the times, dates, and locations they are able to ring a week before Thanksgiving.

Angel Tree: Those that are having a rough year financially and need Christmas Gifts for their children are able to sign up for our Angel Tree Program starting the second week of October.

Toy Coffee: A Salvation Army Advisory Board driven program in partnership with our local Woman's Service League in which folks are able to visit and admire a chosen Antique Home in our city in exchange for a brand new Toy.

Toy Feast: A Toy Collection program run by one of our local News Channels where folks are able to purchase a $100 commemorative Mug and bring a new toy for our Angel Tree Program.

Emergency Disaster Services

The Salvation Army is ready to serve at a moment's notice whenever disaster strikes. Our local trained team may service in local, state, national and international disasters.

Financial Assistance

We understand that times can get tough, and because of that we are able to offer rental and utilities assistance once a year for qualifying individuals/families. To make an appointment with our Social Services worker, please call 409-291-8400 on Thursdays between 3-5pm.

Youth Programs

Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs After School Program:
Monday - Friday from 3-6pm

Summer Day Camp:
Monday - Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm

Fighting food insecurity

In our fight against hunger and food insecurity, we offer a Food Pantry program to those in need in our community that is available Monday - Thursday from 1-3pm.
