Amplify Austin 2024

Mar 11, 2024

On March 6-7, The Salvation Army participated in Amplify Austin, a 24-hour day of giving hosted by I Live Here I Give Here. This event is Central Texas’ largest day of giving and facilitates local donations that invest in Austin non-profits.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we raised a grand total of $67,113 from 220 individual donors during this year’s 24-hour window of giving! We were also blessed to have an anonymous donor match the first $18,000 in donations.

These funds will help us continue to provide shelter, meals, case management, and much more to help a growing number of LOCAL families who are in the greatest need right here in Travis and Williamson counties. Families like Sunni’s, who found help and hope at The Rathgeber Center for Families. Click here to watch Sunni’s interview about her time in our shelter.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our anonymous matching donor, and every single person who donated and engaged with us on social media. Because of your support, we continue to provide critical resources to local families experiencing homelessness, 365 days a year. We appreciate your continued support, and are committed to "Doing The Most Good,” so every story can be as successful as Sunni’s.
