MAJOR RECKLINE AND SANTA TEAM UP TO DELIVER SPECIAL HATS TO BROTHERS

Feb 9, 2022

By Payton Rothenberger – Communications Staff:

Every year during the holidays, Santa pays a visit to the children in our shelters to spread holiday cheer and hear their Christmas wishes. This year, he met two brothers who asked for Disney hats. Knowing he already had a trip to Disney World planned, Santa made a deal with them that after his busy season was over, he would give the hats to Major Reckline who would deliver them to the boys. As promised, Major Reckline showed up to their home with two Disney hats and candy. This is just one example of how we strive to give children more than just a safe place to stay, but also a sense of normalcy and happiness.
