Our Donors Fuel Amplify Austin Success

Hosted by the local organization “I Live Here I Give Here,” Amplify Austin is the biggest day of giving each year in Central Texas. Companies and individuals alike get involved in making donations to ensure the continued success of the organizations that provide critical services to those in Austin who are in need.

This year, over 700 non-profits participated and raised $12.6 million! For me, it has been inspiring to witness this event and how, despite all of the chaos and uncertainty in the world, our community is still dedicated to giving back.

Here at The Salvation Army Austin, we set a goal of raising $50,000. In the end, we got so close, raising  $48,968 through the generosity of 260 local donors. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, shared our posts on social media, and rooted us on as we worked to reach our goal. The funds raised through Amplify Austin this year will ensure we are able to provide housing, food, and child-centric support services for local families experiencing homelessness.

The goal in this is to END the cycle of homelessness and ensure that children receive the resources they need to have a prosperous future.
