Program Eligibility Requirements

The Sand Springs Angel Tree program only serves children who will be between the ages of 0-12 on December 31st, 2024. For example, if you are currently pregnant, but have a due date of Dec.15th your baby is eligible for our program; however, if you have a child who is currently 12, but turns 13 in November, then they exceed our age limits and are not eligible for the program.

In addition to age limits, the Sand Springs Tree program has further eligibility requirements - such as income and residency - that families must meet for their qualifying children to be registered in our program. Providing us the necessary documents to verify your families’ eligibility are vital for our team to process your application correctly. Please carefully read the requirements below – one document from each category is required.

  1. Valid and Federally Recognized ID (Not expired)
    1. State issued driver’s license or ID
    2. Country of origin ID
  2. Proof of Income (We follow SNAP income guidelines - All documents must be dated within the last 3 months)
    1. Check stub with all information visible
    2. Letter from employer on letterhead
    3. Disability or SSI paperwork or SNAP benefit letter (details recipients name, address, and beneficiaries)
  3. Proof of Residence (Dated within last 3 months)
    1. Currently utility bill
    2. Current rental/lease agreement (with current address and rental period visible)
  4. Proof of Children’s age (Must be between the ages of 0-12 on Dec. 31st, 2024)
    1. Birth certificate
    2. Recent TANF paperwork w/name
  5. Proof of Guardianship
    1. Birth certificate (must match applicant name)
    2. Court paperwork showing custodial rights
