Captains Jeremy S. & Michelle Walker

The Captains have been serving as Corps Officers for the past ten years. Before being called into full time ministry as Salvation Army Officers; the Walkers lived on a 3,212-acre ranch in Midlothian, TX, where Captain Jeremy was the Ranch Manager and Captain Michelle was a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery at a hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

Captain Michelle grew up in The Salvation Army as her parents are also Officers. Captain Jeremy grew up in a non-denominational church where his parents were active leaders. Captain Michelle and Jeremy first met while working at The Salvation Army camp when they were teenagers. The two have been married for 28 years and have three beautiful daughters, C.C., Alex and Sierra Walker.

The Walkers arrived in Tyler in June of 2020 after having served in Midland and Bryan/College Station prior to that. They are incredibly passionate about the work being done in The Salvation Army and they are excited to join the mission and work that will be done in Tyler.
