Recreation

There is no shortage of activities available at Camp Paradise Valley! We offer many forms of recreation that you can use for team building, to relax, and have fun. Whether you want to play sports, unwind with a fishing trip, or just relax at the pool, there is something for everyone! In Addition to what is listed below, facilities such as the rec hall, large pavilion, and campfire circle also make great spaces for activities.

Lakefront Activities

Dale Hollow Lake is the jewel of the camp. We offer a variety of activities to enjoy the lake, including canoes & kayaks, swimming, fishing, and our Spirit of Paradise barge, that can take 30-40 people on the lake at a time.

Swimming Pool

A favorite activity of so many is our Olympic-sized swimming pool, which is open from late April through September each year. With two diving boards and a large swimming deck with lounge chairs, it is sure to help you and your group relax and enjoy your time.

Sports Complex

Our sports complex area features an outdoor lighted basketball court, fenced-in tennis court, sand volleyball court and a playground. This area overlooks Dale Hollow Lake and includes a picnic area under the trees for those who want to just be spectators.

Softball Field

Our lighted softball field (located behind the small cabins) can be used day or night for baseball/softball or any other outdoor activity.

Other Recreations Options

In addition to all of the recreations items listed above, we also offer horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, hiking trails, two Gaga ball pits and more! The possibilities for fun are endless!
