Our Facility

The Salvation Army Central Virginia is excited to utilize its athletic and fitness facilities at its P Street location to offer sport, health and wellness programs to benefit East End Richmond and Henrico families.

A generous program grant from Bon Secours Richmond Health System enables membership to the Oasis Wellness Center to be accessible and affordable.

Bon Secours Richmond Health System, in addition to underwriting Oasis Wellness Center programming, was the largest corporate contributor to The Salvation Army’s multimillion-dollar renovation of the 48-year old Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club facility, completed in April 2019, where Oasis Wellness Center is housed.

Our state-of-the-art swimming pool provides a year-round opportunity for community members to be physically active. Swimming lessons are offered in order reduce risk of injury and create strong swimmers living in the river city.

The pool can serve as a competition practice pool for local neighborhood swim teams, a place for lap swim or to host an indoor pool party.

The full-length basketball court and gymnasium lends space for a wide variety of physical activities. With a total of 6 drop-down basketball hoops, it is the perfect location for a pick-up or league basketball game. When the basketball hoops are raised, the gymnasium floor can be transformed for soccer, volleyball, relay races, dodgeball and many other activities.
