Christmas Assistance Programs

Angel Tree. Silver Bells. Empty Stocking Fund.

There will be LIMITED in-person interviews for Christmas assistance this year. If you would like to apply for assistance, please visit the link for the appropriate program (descriptions below) to fill out an online pre-registration form. You will be asked to create a username and login, which can only be used to input a single application and will allow you to log back in at any time to check the status of your application. IMPORTANT: Make sure to include your phone number and Email address in order to receive future communication about your application. Once your application request is complete, you will be contacted by a Salvation Army staff member for any questions or additional information. Any required documents will need to be uploaded to the site after you enter your application.

In order to prove that you qualify for assistance, you will need to provide the following (ALL programs):
ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE CURRENT

1. Valid Photo ID

2. Social Security card/Consulate card or W-7

3. Current lease, or utility bill or mail received from school/government in August or September

AND must provide ONE of the following (proof of need) in the applicant’s name:

1. Current Food stamp approval letter

2. Current free school lunch direct approval letter

3. SSI approval letter (not social security payment)

4. 2020 tax return or notarized proof of your monthly income from your employer

(ANGEL TREE ONLY) For each child being registered:

1. Birth Certificates AND Social Security card/Consulate card

2. Official custody or guardianship papers if applicant is not the biological parent

3. Three gift selections under $50, clothing sizes, and a book preference

IMPORTANT: Save or print out the confirmation page with your CLT ID ### as confirmation your application is complete. Once your application has been entered, you can log back in to check the status at any time. You can check if your documents were accepted or if you need to provide further information and will also see when your application has been approved. Once it is approved, you will be able to log back in to see your date for pick-up of your gifts (Angel Tree). Gift cards for Silver Bells and Empty Stocking Fund recipients will be mailed out the week of December 13th.

Once you have entered an application, do not enter another application for the same program. Log back in to update your information or upload the required documents.
