Volunteer Opportunities

There are many different ways to get involved with The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte. Our staff understands exactly how you can be of the most help to the most people.

One-Time Opportunities

Our one-time opportunities are perfect for those who want a quick and easy way to make a difference. These include activities like serving a meal any day of the year or ringing a bell during the holidays.

Group Opportunities

We can accommodate your group’s desire to do something good together – whether family, friends, coworkers, civic or church groups. Group volunteer activities are typically project-based or part of a larger event.

Ongoing Opportunities

Ongoing opportunities are designed for those who want to get involved on a regular basis. These include activities like working with youth, using your professional skills or serving after a disaster strikes.

If you are interested in becoming a reoccurring volunteer please fill out the forms below and contact Sarah Gamble.
Please note that The Salvation Army does not accept Court Ordered Community Service volunteers.

Adopt a Meal Program: This program provides a much-needed meal to the women and children at our Center of Hope Homeless Shelter. Organizations, church groups, corporate teams, and individuals are needed to provide meals for the families staying with us.

Group Opportunities: We can accommodate your group’s desire to do something good together – whether family, friends, coworkers, civic or church groups. Check out our Group Engagement Packet for more information.
