Social Services in Greenville County

The Salvation Army of Greenville County meets people where they are, providing shelter, food, clothing vouchers, rental and utility assistance to those who need it most.

 

If you are in need of assistance, The Salvation Army of Greenville's Administrative Office is open on the following days and times to assist with clothing vouchers, food boxes, rental, and utility assistance:

Monday 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Tuesday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

Wednesday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

Thursday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The Salvation Army of Greenville provides community meals are on the following days:

**When temperatures fall below 40 degrees, our cold weather shelter will be open for those in need of a safe place to stay. Please look for the white flag flying on top of our Chapel building located at 417 Rutherford Street in Greenville to know when the weather shelter is open.

 

For beds at the Emergency Men’s shelter, intake days are:

Tuesday 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM & 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Thursday 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM & 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

 

For beds at the Emergency Women’s shelter, intake days are:

Friday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
