In order to be good stewards and save on administration costs, your generous gift is processed through a central post office box. Even though this is a Charlotte address, we promise that your gift will be used to serve people in the Greater Hickory and High Country area .

The Salvation Army is grateful for the resources we receive from the community. For many of our partners, giving a gift of stock is a great option. It’s beneficial to the person that gives and to The Salvation Army. These gifts are helpful to our partners because of the potential tax benefits, but also because of the way that an initial investment can be multiplied into greater impact in the community.

Gently Used Goods

Thrift Stores operated by The Salvation Army take your gently used clothing and household items and help the community in a couple of ways. First, they provide an affordable place for anyone to purchase items that they need or want. Secondly, they fund important programs right in the communities in which they are located. Donate A Vehicle

Sometimes it can be a hassle to get rid of vehicles that are no longer needed or wanted. The Salvation Army is able to receive your used car, boat, or other vehicle and resell it. The funds we receive go back into providing the local services we are known for in your community. The process is easy and may even benefit you with your taxes.
