“I wrote this story a few years ago when my wife and oldest daughter took my dad’s old wooden ladder and decorated it for Christmas with lights, pictures, and an angel on the top. I later made the story into a song, recorded it, and worked with an illustrator from Ukraine to create the book you now see. I hope it will inspire you and help you remember that, even in the hardest times, God is there to help and carry you through to the bright future and perfect eternity He oLers to you in His only Son, Jesus Christ. That is what Christmas is really all about.”
