Management
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs are managed by a volunteer Advisory Board and have a professional staff of trained personnel. As members of The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta organization, the Boys & Girls Clubs are further monitored and administered by an Administrative Office and a Corporate Board of Directors.

Members
Our Boys & Girls Clubs serve youth representing every economic and racial/ethnic group of our community but provide special emphasis toward economically disadvantaged youth.

Program
The Boys & Girls Club program is designed to serve the needs of the “total youth.” All programs are used by professionally trained staff as “tools” for youth development and meeting the individual needs of every boy and girl we serve. Program, to us, means every experience that happens formally and informally to youth at the Boys & Girls Club and, therefore, must be a positive experience in fun, learning and personal growth.

Health and Physical Development Programs
emphasizing sports leagues, individual sports, physical fitness, health and nutrition classes, medical and dental check-ups, summer lunch programs and outdoor education.

Cultural Enrichment Programs
emphasizing arts and crafts, fine arts, photography, music instruction, learning center/library activities such as homework aid, reading and computer instruction, Youth Forums, and educational field trips.

Social and Leadership Development Programs
emphasizing games room activities, tournaments, quiet games, special interest clubs, Keystone, Torch and I-Can Leadership Clubs, special events, and inter-club activities.

In essence, the Boys & Girls Clubs are a place for youth, providing “fun with a purpose,” and allowing each individual youth to have a say in what is going on – it is their Club.
