From Setback to Stability: Ashley’s Story
In January 2025, Ashley G, a devoted single mother, walked through our doors in search of a fresh start. After unexpectedly losing her job, she quickly fell behind on rent and utilities, and the stress of providing for her young son weighed heavily on her shoulders. With nowhere else to turn, Ashley came to The Salvation Army determined to change her circumstances.
Through the support she received, Ashley was able to regain the stability she needed to move forward. Just two months later, in March, her persistence and determination paid off — she was offered a new job with even better pay than before.
Today, Ashley is thriving. What began as a moment of crisis has become a story of resilience and renewed hope. We are honored to have walked alongside Ashley during this chapter of her journey and to witness the brighter future she is building for herself and her son.
