Help Spread Holiday Cheer!

The Salvation Army needs volunteers throughout the Christmas Season. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or above unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This is also a great way for students to complete their service hours for school!

Volunteer opportunities include:

Adopting angels: this is an indoor volunteer opportunity to register donors who adopt an angel from our Angel Tree. Volunteers also collect toys and other gift donations for adopted angels.

Red Kettle Bell Ringer: the iconic sound of a bell ringing indicates a Salvation Army Red Kettle is nearby. Volunteers are needed daily to have fun, enjoy the season and ring a bell for Red Kettle donations. The funds are used to help purchase gifts for those in our community and to meet other needs.

Toy and gift preparation and distribution: donations for all our angles need to be packaged and prepared for distribution to the hundreds of families who will be able to enjoy a brighter Christmas. Volunteers are needed to help package and distribute gifts and toys (all tasks are done at one location)

Beginning in November 2023, if you wish to help by volunteering, you can pick a location and time to help by going to Register 2 Ring or emailing ann.christian@uss.salvationarmy.org
