Pathway to Housing Closing
Pathway to Housing Closing
The Pathway to Housing program is designed to do more than help families find a place to live, it creates lasting change by equipping them with the tools and support needed to become successful, self-sufficient homeowners. For the Reyes Family, this meant working closely with case managers, attending financial literacy sessions, and participating in housing readiness workshops, all while receiving wraparound support from a network of partners committed to their success.
This milestone was made possible through the collaborative efforts of The Salvation Army of Osceola County, District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry, the Osceola County Board of Commissioners, Congressman Darren Soto, Housing 4 All, and numerous nonprofit and for-profit organizations who shared one common goal: helping families move from uncertainty to stability.
The Reyes Family’s home closing is one of many steps in a growing initiative to combat housing insecurity in our region. Through Pathway to Housing, families are not just receiving keys to a house—they’re gaining access to stability, dignity, and a renewed sense of hope. And this is just the beginning. Together, we’re building stronger communities, one home at a time.
