Women's Ministries Hosts Spa & Beauty Night
A little encouragement can go a long way, especially when it is shared with love, intention, and community.
Recently, The Orlando Citadel Women’s Ministries, with the support of our dedicated Women’s Auxiliary, hosted a Spa & Beauty Night for residents at William Booth Towers. The evening was thoughtfully designed to offer senior residents a special time of relaxation, joy, and connection reminding each guest that they are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.
From the moment residents arrived, the space had been transformed into a warm and welcoming environment filled with calming touches, friendly faces, and an atmosphere of care. Volunteers provided beauty treatments, refreshments, and most importantly, their time and presence. Conversations flowed easily as laughter filled the room, creating an environment where residents could simply enjoy being cared for.
For many in attendance, the evening offered more than a break from routine it provided meaningful connection. In a world where seniors can sometimes feel overlooked or isolated, moments like these serve as powerful reminders that community still shows up, listens, and loves in tangible ways.
Events like Spa & Beauty Night reflect the heart of Women’s Ministries: creating intentional opportunities to serve others while strengthening relationships, uplifting spirits, and building community one act of kindness at a time.
