EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
CLIENTS MAY APPLY FOR RENT OR UTILITY ASSISTANCE FOR A CRISIS NOT COVID-19 RELATED.

Clients must live within the Williamson County service area. We do not accept walk-ins. You must be referred by a Salvation Army partnering agency or other Williamson County social services provider. Emergency Financial Assistance services by The Salvation Army Williamson County Service Center are provided as a supplement to other agencies. Each agency sets its own guidelines when sending referrals.

The Williamson County Service Center opened in 2014 to provide financial assistance and a food pantry, along with other programs and services to Williamson County individuals and families who are living in the first stages of financial crisis.  The goal is to prevent homelessness by helping people become self-sufficient again.  Other programs offered by the Service Center are a character building and music program, summer camp for the children, and community outreach to a disadvantage neighborhood. We are able to provide these services in our community, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you!

The Service Center also closely collaborates with other agencies and churches in Williamson County (see below) in the area to ensure that we are not duplicating services. We work together to help neighbors in need receive the help they are seeking.

We are working with a growing list of agencies, including The Caring Place, St. Vincent de Paul, The Round Rock Area Serving Center, Operation Liberty Hill, local school districts, and a number of churches.
