EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

When individuals and families in the Winston-Salem community face financial crises, our Emergency Assistance Department is there to help with rent and mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation expenses, financial literacy, and more.

For assistance, please call 336-722-8721 to complete the pre-screening process with our staff via telephone.

Forsyth County Residents

All clients must be pre-screened via telephone prior to an appointment being made for any services. During the interview, case workers will verify the cause of crisis and review the client’s income and expenses.

Please call 336-722-8721 to speak with our Emergency Financial Assistance Team.

If you are prompted to leave a message, please leave your name, phone number, and county of residence and we will return your call to complete the prescreening interview via telephone.

Davie, Stokes, & Yadkin County Residents

At this time, funding is available to assist with Duke Energy Bills for qualified residents living in Davie, Stokes, and Yadkin counties.

Please call 336-722-8721 to speak with our Emergency Financial Assistance Team and complete the pre-screening process.

If you are prompted to leave a message, please leave your name, phone number, and county of residence and we will return your call to complete the prescreening interview via telephone.
