KROC MEMBERSHIP FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is pleased to provide a scholarship program to help all people, regardless of their walk of life, gain access to The Kroc Center. It was Joan Kroc’s vision and expectation that every individual have equal opportunity to grow his or her natural gifts and talents.

Kroc Cares Scholarships are available for all memberships.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

  1. Download a scholarship application. You can also pick one up at the Kroc Center’s front desk.

  2. Attach all household income verification documents to your completed application.
    This includes all documents that best reflect the gross annual salary income of all household members: check stubs, unemployment statement, social security, disability incomes, food stamps award letter, alimony, child support income, etc.

  3. Return your completed application with attached household income verification to the front desk Monday–Sunday during open hours or email the forms directly to our membership director, Lisa Richardson at, lisa.richardson@uss.salvationarmy.org

Kroc Cares Peacock Scholarship | Swim Lessons

Nancy Peacock was an avid swimmer. When she passed, her family wanted a way to memorialize her, establishing a fund to help children whose family can't afford swim lessons learn water safety skills.

Thanks to their generosity, "New Swimmer" sessions have become available to qualifying youth ages 5 - 18, in need of essential swim instruction through the Kroc Cares Peacock Scholarship Program.

Your application for this program will be automatically submitted. Please allow up to 2 weeks for a response. Keep an eye on your email for any questions or Peacock Scholarship Approval! Thank you for your thorough response.
