The Salvation Army Memphis is committed to transforming lives and healing our community through the Heal 901 initiative. By supporting our Salvation Army Homeless Shelter network, including the Spring Center of Hope, you can help provide essential services and support to those in need. Our Memphis Thrift Stores play a crucial role in funding these programs, offering affordable goods while supporting our mission to uplift and heal Memphis. Join us in making a difference and be a part of the movement to Heal Memphis.

Issue

Hundreds of people in Memphis and the Mid-South struggle every day to make ends meet, including:

228 homeless women
217 homeless children
109 homeless families

(according to the 2019 Point-in-Time count)

CURE

The Salvation Army’s Purdue Center of Hope provides long-term residential care aimed at eliminating poverty, homelessness, addiction and violence.

Every day: We serve 25% of women, 36% of children and 34% of families experiencing homelessness.

Goal

To increase capacity at the Purdue Center of Hope and enhance the level of care through innovative programming, experts in the field and the love of Jesus Christ.
