A NOTE REGARDING OUR CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE
A NOTE REGARDING OUR CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE
- Because The Salvation Army often serves vulnerable populations, we will remain vigilant, flexible, and responsive in the face of COVID-19’s transmissibility.
- The Salvation Army will maintain a posture of readiness to assist and serve Memphis & the Mid-South in the event of an escalation.
- Similar to other local agencies, The Salvation Army is working to prioritize the health and safety of staff, clients, and guests.
- We have increased education, cleaning, and disinfection efforts at all Salvation Army facilities, posting informational flyers and providing adequate supplies to staff, residents, and guests.
- The Salvation Army will continue receiving donations of household goods at Family Store drop-off sites only. Those who wish to make one-time or sustaining monetary gifts are encouraged to do so at https://salvationarmymemphis.org/kettle365
- The Salvation Army will continue to follow statements from local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring our compliance with emerging guidelines and protocols.
