REBECCA'S STORY
REBECCA'S STORY
Rebecca's story is not one of despair. It's not one of hopelessness. A few years ago, she was living her life the only way she knew how: drugs and alcohol consumed with no regard for anyone else but herself.
"I was sentenced to drug court and I had a baby, so they recommended the Salvation Army. And I didn't know it was everything that it is. But yeah, I was blessed."
A single mother, and because of her addiction, she could not find a job to support her son. She tried going back home, but the drugs were too powerful there.
"At first I had no faith, but my case manager had the utmost like confidence..."
But when Jessica came to The Salvation Army, she found a second chance at life and sobriety. Today, we're sharing Jessica's journey from despair to hope as an example that anyone can beat addiction and change their life too!
